MacArthur Accepting Applications for Spring Internships
Washington, D.C. – Congressman MacArthur today announced that his office is now accepting applications for spring internships in his Washington, D.C., Toms River and Marlton offices.
Student interns will work with staff on various constituent service and communications projects, as well as assist with legislative research. Both New Jersey and Washington, D.C. internships provide students with first-hand knowledge of the legislative process and the countless other functions of a congressional office.
“The best part of interning for Congressman MacArthur was learning about what issues are important to my hometown and how representatives work for their constituents. Interning in Congressman MacArthur’s office has given me not only a professional experience, but also the chance to see the government in action and the inner workings of the legislative branch” – Shelby Logan, Westampton Native, George Washington University Senior (International Affairs)
College students who are interested in interning in any of Congressman MacArthur’s offices should submit an application online at: https://macarthur.house.gov/services/internships by December 16, 2016.
