WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Tom MacArthur announced that he had been named Vice Chair of the Military Personnel Subcommittee:
“I’m honored to have been named to this leadership role on the Military Personnel Subcommittee,” MacArthur said. “Caring for the men and women who serve our country is critically important. I look forward to working with the Subcommittee to find ways we can efficiently spend taxpayer dollars to give our Armed Forces the best possible care, and ensure our readiness to respond to whatever arises.”
“I’m pleased that Congressman MacArthur will be serving as Vice Chairman of the Subcommittee on Military Personnel,” said Congressman Mac Thornberry, Chairman of the House Committee on Armed Services. “As he represents the only tri-service military base in the country, Tom knows firsthand the importance of providing first class benefits to our men and women of the Armed Forces. I’m looking forward to the work he will accomplish over this term.”
